Chloe has started to become a big barker and she is only 3 months old. It is mostly for attention. But, she does not just bark, she screams. That dog has a terrible temper. Because sometimes we are busy eating or doing stuff around the house. And she wants our constant attention. Usually if we ignore it, she will stop.

The yorkie I had before her, Lacey, was a big barker. I used to send her to her room when it got out of control. She would go hysterical with barking if a dog or cat was outside near our yard. I would scream, Lacey, go to your room! (Which was the laundry room) And she knew what it meant too. She knew she was doing wrong because she would punish herself and go in the laundry room. And I would shut the door. She would cry for a few minutes to get out. And then she would stop and be quiet. I would always feel sorry for her afterwards and the punishment never went beyond 10 minutes. Then, she would give me so many kisses like she has been locked up for an hour.
