Sounds just like my Bailey, he is so independent, always on the go and rarely wants to be cuddled. There are times after he is worn out that he will curl up on my feet or near me, but overall he like to be busy doing his own thing. He is 4 months and at first it bothered me but now i find it hillarous just to watch him, some dogs we enjoy in different way. My overweight beagle on the other hand thinks he is a lap dog lol.....When we went to pick Bailey up from the vet after his neuter he heard my voice on his way out and practically lept into my arms, so although they aren't always in our laps, they do love and need us just as much as if they were clingy...
