I agree with the other posts, that you introduce your new yorkie on neutral ground. Worked well with me. I was also extra careful not to fuss over the new puppy in front of my other one. Looking forward to future posts.....

I had a sheltie and had to put him down after 15 years poor guy had a stroke. Sadly I let the vet take him in the back to do the sad thing from that day on I felt so guilty that Charlie died alone I swore no pet of mine will ever die alone if I could help it. Then I had to do it and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I am am plumber by trade and go into peoples homes and how I hated the yappers then my daughter casked if we could get a puppy she saw and being the animal lover that I am I said yes. She said I may not like it though as it was a Yorkie and to be honest I was not thrilled but when she placed that ball of fur in my hand I knew who was going to be the boss and it was not me. I have cried over her harder than when my father died. She would always be there for me when I got home and be such a pain in the rear when she wanted to play. God I miss her so. Give your dogs lots of love as you never know.

Thank You for your kind words Jim
