 Bee sting? Baby Benadryl?????
One of my guys within the last hour got stung by a bee. It took us a few minutes to find the stinger and pull it out. It left quite a bruise on the bottom of his foot below the pad. We gave him 3 drops of Metacam (Meloxicam) a prescribed pain med from teeth pulling. I also applied pet hydrocortisone but the puppy is licking the foot, crying in pain and can't find a comfortable positiion to lay in. I read all the posts on stings and noticed some of you mentioned .5 cc of baby benadryl. Can he have this after the Metacam? Of course it is 7 pm on Saturday nite and the vet is closed..... |
