oh you deff would need a xtra small or small med would be WAY to big we got the large it was swiming on austin and hes 10 pounds they run really big
the only thing i dont like is that i have to pay to ship it back and for them to ship the new one the harness has now gotten expensive
it was safe for us i had no problem
