I think it depends on the state where you live. In the fall of 2000, PA changed the tests and it seems as if they made them more difficult. They also required MORE tests (so they could get more money, of course). When I took them in Spring of 2000 before the changes took place, I thought that they were a piece of cake compared to the exam I had to take to become an SLP. I've heard from people who have taken them within the past few years that there were some tests that were difficult to pass.
