I havent seen the bells you all are taking about...but I bought a pink
fluffly rope strand from the craft store, put an approx 1-2 inch bell on the
end and hung it from my front door...I taught Lilly Belle at 5mos to
"go ding-ding". I just rang the bell and held her to it, and said ding-ding-
and gave her a tiny treat. she learned to jump on her hind legs and ring it-
I still gave her a tiny treat...and lots of praise it took about 2-3 afternoons, using about 15min time periods..she would get so excited when she rang the bell...once I taught her that, then
instead of a treat, I would say..."ding ding- you want to potty" and we would go out...she now rings the bell and "expects" to go out...and if we dont hear the bell she will keep hitting and jumping at it making it louder
and will finally bark... she's 8mos now...much better at house training
with a few accidents. (I will say at times she will ring it-just to go out-hmm
still working on that)
