Your little guy or girl is helpless against most larger types of animals. And you must at all times be AWARE. Your dogs life depends on YOU....
Sorry if I sound a little harsh, but Ive seen and heard of way to many small dogs killed or injured at the arms length of there owner. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN !!!!

It's not just dogs you have to worry about. Last year in 2 different suburbs of Pittsburgh 2 yorkies died because a hawk flew down in the yards and attacked them. And there were people around--just a few feet away!
