I've never heard that before. My 1 1/2 year old, Cooper, had floppy ears even after teething (which they say can affect the ears) so we taped them up for a couple of weeks and it worked! He looked kind of silly, but it didn't hurt and he didn't pull at them or scratch so I don't think he minded! My new pup's ears stood up from the beginning and they have the exact same parents.
