Finally getting warmer here in Pittsburgh....so I took Bella and Lexi for a walk yesterday. We walked up the street and back. No sidewalks... we live in a newly developed housing plan and everyone just sort of walks up and down the street. Last night Bella my 9 month old was chewing at her back paws... took a good look at them and the pads of her little feet are all scuffed and looks like they are peeling now...... I FEEL HORRIBLE! Is this normal and do they toughen up? Should I be putting something on them.... I think she would just lick it off if I put anything on them.... ! Lexi the 6 month old is just fine and she walked the same walk..... ????? These dogs cause me more worry sometimes than my two daughters!!!!!
