Wow...that makes perfect sense Irene. I think I'm going to discuss this with my vet and get her opinions on this. I now that the Streptococci virus is deadly if it develops into Toxic Shock Syndrome...and kills FAST. (Highly dangerous in humans too.) I always thought about it being the result of exposure...now I'm wondering if it can actually be passed down...even if it's an inherited immune defeciency...hmmmm
