Default Blood in stools....

My sister was in somewhat of a panic. Her somewhat small dog started showing what she thought was blood clots in his stools - bright red - etc.

She saw this for two or three days and was ready to take him to the vet when she noticed her dog and her grandson outside in the backyard eating tomatoes. And, in fact, she discovered that over the past few days, they had eaten a lot of tomatoes..

The end result is that her dog had no bleeding problem whatsoever - he was juts eating too many tomatoes and to some extent - they were just passing through him without being completely digested.

He (the dog) still loves tomatoes......

End of story!!!!
