thankyou again. the tip about the bitter spray might be a good one. i do do that thing where i 'yelp' as in the inhibited bite but it hasn't seemed to stop him. that's interesting about what you've said about putting him on his back because when i try to do that, he struggles so violently that i'm worried he's going to break his neck. i've tried to do it quite a few times but every time i've let him go because he just won't calm down
