Zoe is 7 months old and has not been spayed and has not gone into heat yet. Her breeder suggests waiting a while. I don't know her exact weight, but last vet appointment she weighed 2.2 lbs. Her breeder says that the tiny ones sometimes don't go into heat until they are over a year, sometimes more, so I'm waiting a while longer.
We all have to do what we think is best, but I figure I'll wait until she can be spayed and get her remaining baby teeth pulled at the same time and not have to go under twice. |
