Edgar doesn't really bark a whole lot. He will bark at the normal things, knocking (not just on the front door), being startled, and the dog that lives behind us.
Then he has a half bark, usually when we are on a walk and he sees other dogs in windows, kindof like he's trying to be tough--swearing under his breath or something.
i usually either ask him "what is it?" in case i missed the knock on the door, or tell him, "that'S ENOugH!" which is what my mother used to say....
And then there is the thing i tOLd my husband not to do! Don't let him bark to get you to play....but NOoooo! so when edgar wants to play with my husband he picks up a toy and barks once. but if he is ignored, he brings the toy to wherever eric went and barks once. So Funny.
For me he just brings the toy.

and omg when he shakes his "sock" around and it smacks him and he growls at it! that's the funniest thing in the world!
