Usually around 8 months, but, just like women, it varies and it doesn't mean it is a problem. If you take her to the vet and ask he will tell you just what I said and charge you the office visit fee. Also, she may have and you missed it. Some don't show real noticable signs of being in heat. I can tell when mine are coming into heat by the way the others act around them. Do you have other dogs? My Mom and I have Yorkies from the same litter....their schedules couldn't be more different. Hope this helps a little. If they are less than a year during their first cycle they should wait til the 2nd one.
