My kids used to do the same thing and then I started using the washable pads. They are WONDERFUL! Much more economical in the long run and better for the enviornment! They can't be torn up or shredded and they last forever. Just throw them in the washing machine and in the dryer on low for a few minutes.
I use both Pish Pads and Piddle Pads. You can Google search either one and it will take you to the links to buy them.
