Hi Omega! Welcome to YorkieTalk. I bathe Stewie every 7-12 days depening on how dirty he looks/smells. He sleeps right up against me at night in my bed and I do not want a stinky butt in my face

Also, I know what you mean about other breeds. I know a lot of Maltese owners who don't bathe them as often as most of us do our Yorkies. They have such a diff coat so it doesn't get greasy. I think I used to bathe my Lab once every 2 mos. She shed a lot so she never looked or smelled dirty. Since Yorkies don't shed and have silky hair I think they need to be bathed more often than most other breeds
