if something was wrong with an individual on a flight would they not call for medical help? it is the same difference. you paid for them to insure a safe flight for the animal on the airline. outside of some unforseen disaster that they have no control over they are obligated to do something about it. i must say i have only heard about two positive stories on flying animals. my neighbor flew her english bulldog first class and was very pleased with her care, maybe that makes a difference.
