Default worming

When breeding hounds or a breed that is outside on dirt by 4 weeks..and my Doxies were ready to run in the yard and dig in the dirt at 4 and 5 weeks...you have a different way of doing things.
When you have a toy breed, you start with the adults. Do a check to make sure they do not have any problems..Keeping them on Heartworm preventative will stop any worm problem, except tapes and they come from fleas..no fleas, no tapes. Then you do stool checks early on pups..if there is no worm or parasite, it is not wise to run toxins through them for good measure.

Reseach is showing that Yorkie livers can not take these routine measures without consequences. After a routine dosage of Albon, some will fail a bile acid test.
I had a stud client with a two week litter..the vet wanted them brought in for a worming..both were dead by evening.
Good Luck
