I cut the fur on Katy's ears a week ago because it was weighing down her ears. It was the first time. I noticed that the fur that is growing back in is very soft.

Is there a difference between puppy hair and older or is it just because it is short and new. I tried to see if I could feel a difference with the hair close to her body by could tell. If that is the way it grows back in, I would consider trimming all of her hair that short.
