My pup is 20 weeks and has a puppy coat that mats easily.She is having her first haircut on saturday. I am hoping that when the horrible puupy hair is gone, her coat woll be easier to take care of. The new coat is much silkier! I'll let you know.In the meantime--weekly baths and daily brushing are essential!
