Ok..I'm going by memory on specifics. I believe the Wet Mount detects Giardia. As for the stain..I THINK it detects, Cocci and Parasite and the Float covers only Parasites. All you vet techs out there feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I can't remember what covers what. But basically, I run the whole gamut to look for everything..lolol.
