My pup, Trace, is 8 weeks old. Is it possible his glands need expressing at already? He is biting at his butt, (or trying to, he can't reach it) like something is getting him, he stills wants to play, but the hiney problem is bothering him and he stops. He has b.m.'s regularly and they seem a good consistency and firm. He had one this am, but hasn't this afternoon. I read a post where someone said the vet inserts a finger inside their anus, now I can tell you, this guy's is toooo little for anyone to get a finger inside. Does any one know if they can even express the glands at this age? Thanks so much.
