My husband is a real dog lover and he tries to be all gruff and act like he doesn't like them, but then he will see them doing something cute and he will say "AHHHH". He loves to throw thing sfor them and watch them chase after it!
I probably get on him too much for doing things I think he shouldn't like feeding them human food and trying to teach them to sit the wrong way, etc. I try to bite my tongue most times. He also felt like it wasn't fair to our other two dogs when I first got the yorkies, but I have been going over board with them too lately, brushing them, buying them treats and toys etc. so he doesn't think that anymore.
He loves to have them on his lap while he is watching TV at night too. |
