I also responded to your question in the other thread that was
started by Mike, but once again Ted goes to obedience and
we use a harness. I would NEVER use a choke collar and I don't
care what the trainer says. If they insist then I would be looking
for a new trainer. The first night of class I tried just his regular
collar but I just wasn't comfortable using even that. I don't think
there should even be an issue with the trainer as long as your
dog is being restrained and you have control over it...Hope it is
warming up in Minnesota? Man, I was back there 2 weeks ago
and about froze to death! Plus, I was also lucky enough to get
in on that last snow storm to boot...
