we have had Buckeye in Mexico. Before we went I called the boarder patrol and asked them what was needed. he said nothing was needed. I just made sure i had his shot records with me and his rabies tag. and kept him on a leash even while carrying him. everyone wanted to pet him. I didn't like that part. but .... we was only there for a couple of hours shopping too so if you are intending on spending any time there it might be different. call the boarder patrol and ask.
they told me hundreds of dogs cross the boarder a day and they are not too strict about them. this was a couple of years ago too. before all this violence was so bad.
do you need me to baby sit for ya?
