Showdogs are the closest you will get to perfect, and some of them have faults.
IMO..Slight or larger faults are in the eye of the beholder.
I see some dog that have the shorter snout and I like a dog with the longer snout ..so to me this would be a fault.
I like the almond eyes.. so a dog with big round eyes would be a fault to me..etc.
Faults to look for.
Ears a little to big or off ..Not correct ear set.
Legs a little long or a little to short.
A little too long in the body.
Eyes to wide.
Nose not correct... may slope down.
Coloring might not be in the correct places.
Back not straight.
Coat.. anything other then silky is a fault.
Size to small to big.
Over bite.. under bites
IN other words IMO there is no perfect Yorkie....
And these are outward faults. Other genetic faults...LPs, liver shunts, heart murmurs...just to name a few.
