I have had screamers. I'm certain other drivers think I'm killing a dog. With Trace, it was better to ignore him. If you said anything or tapped on the crate...any kind of acknowledgement brought it on louder and longer. He finally quit doing it altogether. My newest is a screamer too. She would scream the entire 3 mile trip to my office. Now she stops screaming if you talk to her....so now I ride around looking like I'm talking to myself
Btw, she's gotten better in only 1 week....the screaming now stops in a 1/2 mile....
