I have a Maltese too. I keep his hair in a short puppy cut. I never have a problem with matts but I do notice that his hair takes longer to dry when compared to my Yorkie's hair.
I usually blow dry him for about 5 minutes to get rid of the initial dampness. Then I let him air dry the rest of the way. His coat always dries so nice, softy and fluffy -- like a little white powder puff. |
