I went back and viewed your postings and the picture of Lyla, she is positively darling, did you bring her from the breeder at five and half weeks? It would have been great if she could have been with the Mother and litter up till about 12 weeks. Do you have pleanty of chew toys for her teething process. I found the Kong chew toys to be Baby Blessings favorites. How is Lya doing with the potty training? Do you have a family member, or a friend close by that could come over now and again and spend some puppy time with Lyla while you are in school? That might help her too. Doing all the things you say she is here, is normal being a puppy and to be left unattended loose can be a problem, someone suggested a play pen which sounds like a good idea. As a suggestion you might even form a club with other students to now and then help one another with caring for each others pets during
different class schedules. IMO puppies need not to be left unattended for too long of a time. They have a tendency to get bored and therefore can form habits not to our liking. I hope that our suggestions can be of some help cause I know it can be frustrating but the time and effort that we put into them when they are little and young is forever rewarding in the months and years to come. Welcome to YT I know you will really like this site, and look forward to your posting more pictures of Lyla.
