I do mine myself as well. I groomed dogs for a while. I alway felt that the first bath is the most important so you don't scare them for life. I can't get near them with the clippers. I tried to do his ears but he snaps up his head. I think I cut his tongne. There was blood but I could see any other than in his mouth. He wants to lick the clippers. I tried just putting it near his head and he kinda closes his eyes but as soon as I get near his ears, he snaps up and I can't do it. I gave up. I love bath time though.
