I had not seen it because we don't have HBO but I heard about it because I'm a Mormon. When I heard about it I was like "Oh no! It has been over 100 years since Mormons practiced poligamy." We've worked soooo hard to get rid of that stigma, and now they have a show about modern people doing it! There are fundamentalists all over Arizona and Southern Utah who really do still live that way.But they aren't Mormon. I've often thought another wife around the house would be a good thing for me! Well, I'm at the hotel and they have HBO so I watched it last night. Strange show, but I actually enjoyed it! I wish I could see more episodes. But that prophet guy, he sceeves me out! |
