Animal Smiley 049 Need info on How to stud my male yorkie

My yorkie is 17 mos old. I purchased him from a pet store and he has papers, though I have never registered him. I would like to do this very soon. I am not sure how to go about studding him out. What I would like is to get a pick of the litter or charge a fee. I also heard from someone that now a days you take the male to the vet and he extracts the sperm? (I am sorry if I sound ignorant! However I know nothing about the breeding process, obviously) and then it is implanted in the female? Is that true? Or do some breeders still do it the old fashion way? I am not sure if there is a resource I could read on how to breed my Yorkie...any thoughts..ideas? Please help, since I do want to eventually get Elvis fixed, so that he will stop marking my kitchen appliances!!

Speaking of marking..can that be stopped, even if he is not fixed?

Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you.
