The more I read, the more I realize I made the right decision in dealing with the breeder we chose. She asked us countless questions: Fenced-in yard? Do we both work, or is one at home most of the time? We do
not feed table scraps, do we? She also let us know that she's only a phone call away if ever we want to just talk to her about raising Abby. I left with the name and number of her vet, and contact info on several people who are owned by her pups over the past 15 years. She let me know in no-uncertain terms that she did turn away prospective buyers for this litter, because their motives were not good.
