Although the link is in Nova Scotia, I was amazed when I started to look for a Plan B for my Buddy what there is out there. My mother is taking him, but I was worried if something happened to her or her husband (in their 70's) they would need someplace to take Buddy. I have found several in my area that keep small dogs right in their own homes they I have just started to investigate for my trip. I used to look forward to my 2 weeks South every year and this year I'm having a hard time thinking about leaving Buddy. My Mother loves him and he loves her so I know he'll be in good hands but it will be sad to leave him. If he ends up at the link above - he may never want to come home!
