What do you do with your yorkie during the day?

Doggie day care?
Crate or pen him/ her?
Let them roam the house?
Keep them outside?

I am returning to work and now i'm not sure what to do with Milo. It's so hard going back to work and although I love what I do, I'm worry that Milo will become depressed being away from me for long periods of time. It's only 3 days a week but It's a whole day (9hrs) on thoughs days.
