I totally agree with this statement. I believe that I had this running thru my house a while back. It was a total nightmare. Dogs coughing for no reason and nothing I could do would stop it. Poor guys. No sooner than I'd get one of the little ones "cured," another one of 'em would get it. We finally treated every single animal in my house for it at the same time for an extended amount of time and wiped it out that way. It took a long time and a lot of vet visits, which I think were making it worse (by reinfecting the ones I took to the vet), but no more flu or coughing around here. Thank heavens!

My vet told me that he has seen MANY cases of this uncurable coughing this year and went to a conference where they were discussing this very thing. Said that it was running its course across the US and it would be a horrible year for it. I just hope it doesn't come back!
