They sell puppy pad holders that fit around the edges of the pad - this helps keep the pup from getting hold of the edges --
Because yorkies are prone to collasped tracheas - people prefer harnesses.
However, for now, I am using both. For quick trips outside to pee, I put on the color and a short leash. We just go out and come back in. But, for longer trips and walks, I use a harness.
I am going to buy one of the vests that hook with velcro. I think they'd be easy to put on and off and look very comfortable....plus they would also help keep the little pups warm.
