Sophie has been coughing, exactly as you described, for about 4 weeks. Her vet told me it is due to alergies...caused by the up and down temperatures we've had lately. He said it will go away by itself or he could give her antibiotics. We didn't try any medication, yet, but will if it continues much longer.
