Very interesting. We had a toy poodle for 15 years and he was the most calm non-poodle-like dog I ever saw. He was very laid back like my husband and I. Could sleep all day if I wanted to or just hang out on the couch. I was a little leary of getting a Yorkie after hearing how high strung they can be. Well, Tatum has turned out to be just like our poodle. Very laid back and "low maintenance". Funny thing, so are our children. I remember asking my MIL one time why my kids were so much more tolerable than my two nephews and she said it comes from how the parents act and react to things. I say they (pets and kids) pick up on more than we realize!
