hello, I've been cooking for over thirty years and am still learning. I would go and get a cookbook and try some new recipes and some would end up in the trash. Then I found a book by Cooks Illustrated and found out that they try making every recipe every which way they can to see which way tastes best. They do all the mistakes for you. I then found out that they have a magazine out, a tv show, and a web site also. It cost $25 to join there web site for a year. Some of their recipes are not low fat, but they just came out with there first low fat book called "The Best Light Recipe" which I'm in the process of trying out now. I've tried a few and the family likes them, and there picky. I also like all the "Cooking Light"magazines and books, there all based on low fat recipes. Sorry so long, but cooking is one of my hobbies.
