Well, possibly Ginger's the amazing growing yorkie, but...
last summer we were in a training class with a little tiny daschund who was ever so slightly bigger than Ginger (Ginger may have been taller, but the dacshund was definately larger). Ginger was about 11 mos. old now at that time. Recently, we met up with that same daschund, and her people couldn't believe my dog was the same dog! Between all of the black hair that is now completely gone, and the growth she's experienced since (she's now at 12 lb very solid, but not fat) Ginger looked like a giant next to this dog!
I was also amazed by how much she continued to grow since then!
The formulas are great as a guideline, but I don't think you know until they really STOP growing! |
