In light of what recently happened to Rachel, I have been depressed and somewhat frighten.
Thursday afternoon my mother, who is 72, was in a bad car accident.
A passer-byer aided my mother by holding her hand and calling my sister and myself. A car ran a stop sign and in an instant my mother collided with it going approximately 40 mph. She did'nt even have time to break. Of course seeing the car made her brace her whole body.
When I got the call from this good samaritan, I was devastated. I rush to the ER, And was there when the ambulance arrived at the ER. The driver of the other car was in the same ambulance and he look pretty banged up. My mother looked okay even though she was strapped to the board and was hooked up to IV's and oxygen.
X-rays and CT scan showed no major injuries! My mother's back is sprained and she is a little bruised up. WOW! THANK GOD!
After seeing my mother's car the next day I still believe it was a MIRACLE she walked away (as they say) with minor injuries.
