Our dog pound has a scanner and scan all dogs that are found, and all vets can scan a dog if you find one, and want to see if they are chipped, So I think its a good idea. And Bailey has a tag on his collar saying he is chipped,and how to locate his mommy. So if someone would find him, they would know what to do.
