 HI I posted the same thing a couple of weeks ago.
My maltese went through her first heat cycle and then got swollen. I wasn't too worried at first because I thought that might be typical. But then they didn't go back to normal and they got hard. They just now have finally gone down and back to normal. I'm not sure if it was an actual false pregnancy or not. She showed none of the other symptoms. She went through her heat about two months ago. Hopefully things will turn out the same for you. Chloe did not get milk or anything. I think if your Tinkerbell gets milk or very hard nipples that are hurting her then be concerned and call vet. I am going to look for the article that was recommended to me and get it for you, it was helpful in understanding what false pregnancy is. |
