I agree completely! I think sometimes "we" can be a little overprotective of these little babies. I realize it has a lot to do with their size and overall cutie-patootie-ness but really, they are dogs and should be allowed to do the things that dogs do. Tatum is a very well rounded dog..... she is quite pampered inside the house but can tear the world up outside playing with her Australian Shepherd sister (4 times her size at least). I know we don't pamper her half as much as some people on YT do theirs and to each their own but I think she is a very happy dog. They need to socialize and get out there and play like a dog. I think it would be a fairly unhappy existence for them if they never have that chance. I say as long as he is up to date on his shots and you take the proper precautions for his safety, you (and he) should be totally fine. Most importantly, enjoy your time together playing and having fun and not worrying unnecessarily over all the things that could happen. This site has shown everyone that there are so many things that you just can not prevent. Be smart and safe and have fun!
