I selected the Breeder first. She sent me a picture of the puppy as well as pictures of his parents and his sister. She also offered that I could come to meet him if I wanted to. The Breeder and I also had several lengthy conversations where we discussed the puppy's health, genetics, personality and how he would fit into my life. We also discussed my background, experience with yorkies, the temperament of my other yorkie. By the time I went to pick up my puppy, I felt that I already knew him. However, he turned out to be all that I had thought he would be and more. He is the most precious little baby with a very loving personality. (And since the Breeder lives ~3 hrs. away, I didn't go to meet him until the day I picked him up. I guess you could say that Breeder is also kind of a "matchmaker".)
