Has anyone ever heard of this? If so please respond since I can not find really any good info on this.
My one little boy was to the vet today and they think he might have a enlongated palate. He is sending us to a specialist on Monday to find out for sure if this is the problem.
My little guy has had what I describe as a cold or a congested nose for a bit now and nothing the vet has done has seemed to help. There has been about 8 x rays taken and it is not the airway or anything like that. Nothing at all shows up in the xrays. The trech is good and no problems there. It just seems as though he has a head cold so to speak.
Any advise so I can have some clue what I am up against.....Also can anyone tell me what this could be caused from? None of my others have it and not even the parents or grandparents, so if it is something hereditary then it is way back in the line....
All I know here is if this is indeed what is wrong with my little guy then surgery is needed and they say it can run any where from $1200.00 to $2000.00. And that is if nothing else is wrong or needed. I am more than willing to get the money together as that is not it at all. When it comes to money or my baby it will be my baby. Just wanted you to know this so no one thinks this is the issue.
