There is nothing wrong with putting bows in his hair as long as they are 'boy colors'. I used to get teased my my whole family and my in-laws family for doing my little girls' hair and dressing her up, but they got used to it. They haven'y gotten used to me painting her nails though
just tough it out and laugh along with them. Trust me, it's not very fun for them to tease you when they don't get the reaction they are looking for.
You could try
